Company Rebrand
Rebranding a company with an architecture of 10 brands.
The Brief
Create a brand alignment concept for a new legal vertical brand family identity.
The branding alignment concept should mark a new beginning for the business, developing a common branding language across the legal verticals.
The new branding will be applied to a range of online and offline touch points and will replace instances of the current legal vertical logos.
The new branding will provide a link with the Lexology brand.
The Lexology logo that all new brands had to align to.
The Solution
We decided to proceed with a visual language adopted from the Lexology branding.
To use the DIN font to create the initialism logo marks and create an icon, using the Lexology nine dot grid, for each brand.
The 10 brands under the Law Business Research umbrella.
Typeface and Colour
For the most part the colours remained the same for each brand.
As some of the brands were 20 years old the brand owners thought the brand recognition that had been established was too strong to let go of.
We adjusted the brand colours to make them conform to accessibility standards, if they hadn't previously, whilst retaining the
brand identities.
